Lake Keechelus Couples Session
We spent the afternoon at the Lake Keechelus, these two weirdos danced, kisses, laughed, and head-butted each other (only once). I’ve have never seen two people who enjoy and embrace each-others quirks more and it is obvious that’ve met their human. Fast forward a year and they are now engaged, in that moment they just wanted to share their love. As I look at their gallery it is a straight “duh” moment seeing them prepare to get married. They joked all after noon, from laughs over who had the better dance moves to Kaycees sarcastic remarks about Dustin forgetting a second shirt. Or his sweet flossing dance moves that her niece taught him. I was there in a way but these two took off and were in their own world. Even in such a beautiful location it is hard to see much that is more captivating then spark they have. I am so happy to have been part of the journey and know deep down that this weird ass thing you two have is exactly what you want and need. From the bottom of my heart, I am so enamored with the fact that you weirdo found one another in the big world!
If you make your way into Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, just east Snoqualmie pass, you will find the beautiful Lake Keechelus. Throughout the year water level varies. Some months you will find a vibrant and tranquil lake that almost reaches the roads edge, the contrast is a graveyard of trees and lake bottom plants that thrive in sunlight during the off season. Regardless of which state, it is a unique and varying landscape that catches attention year road. Must do’s when in the area include serene hikes like snow lake and kendals katwalk.
