Jon + Shaynie - Gas Works Park Proposal

The most elaborate and flawlessly executed proposal I have had the pleasure to be a part of. Jon flew to Seattle following Shaynie where he had planned with her friends, how to get her to the park. When Jon reached out to me he told me all of the details. Their recent trip to Cabo where she met some instant besties. How she had a trip to come visit them in the works and how he was going to be traveling here as well but she had no idea. He had rented a marquee light, the spot was Gas Works Park and her girls were planning the day to end there just before sunset. We met at the park and there were nerves galore. He told me he had packed their bedding and brought it with him so he could face-time her from the hotel room and have it look like he was home in bed. Stress rose the day of when he had to white lie that he shattered his screen cause she was trying to call again through out the day. All was in place perfectly. We had Jon hidden away, the crowd of onlookers was eagerly awaiting and we knew the girls were five minutes away. When they arrived her friends encouraged her to go snap a quick pic in front of the sign and send it to Jon as a “joke.” Shaynie was embarrassed and begrudgingly hovered at the edge of the sign. I insisted it was fine as the group was thirty minutes away. Distracted by her friends and straining into their cameras, Jon walked up behind her. Knees buckled in the way that they do when you realize all of her dreams just came true.
